Project “Danger Room” Private P2P Network

I thought i found the solution to creating a private P2P network using a program called Gigatribe, but the program doesnt work that well after the trial period, something i should have seen coming but i thought i could get around the inconvenience of a easy connect method used by the paid version versus a direct connect method that turned out to not work well at all, i suspect on purpose ( gigatribe has to get paid). This means that i’m back to the drawing board when it comes to a P2P solution for files i would like to share with friends. I have been able to successfully setup a YNHUB + DC++ P2P network but this type of setup is very limited and requires some technical experience. Opera Unite is another option but its not a true P2P network just a file sharing method, if anyone has any ideas on setup a P2P network please post a reply.
