I have been a active user of the Bit Torrent community for some time now and have always been concerned with both getting the best possible download speeds (optimal uploads speeds are also important to maintain good standing ratio’s) and also protecting myself from the good old RIAA / MPAA aka The Devils. So you can find a lot on this topic, but a lot of the guides out there are incomplete, or actually have misleading information. The following guide does a decent job of detailing the setting up and maintaining of a Secure and speed efficient Bit Torrent Client.
