Since earlier this month, there have been a few different Alpha/Beta ROMs of Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3 for the Galaxy S2 Epic 4G Touch, first starting with FB09, FB15, FB17 and most recently FB21. What we know is that FB15 was a pretty decent build with a few issues, some of which were worked out with the release of FB17. The current issues with FB17 were GPS Related, Kernel Panic Mode, Device Running hot, Battery life Issues, Loss of Signal, and Notification sounds being bugs in the software. As of FB21 which was released to the wild earlier today, most likely will resolve many of these issues, bringing Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3 very close to being officially released to E4GT users. The date that has been floating around is March 1, and at the current pace, things look like they may actually be on time.
